My first ever foray into game development was in April 2009 when I decided I wanted to learn AGS.
I’d toyed with it previously, but never felt I got anywhere. This time, I sat down and was determined to come out the other end with something that was at least borderline playable.
I asked my wife to come up with a simple quest I could build a very simple game around. Probably going crazy with candy hunger, she said, “Break into a candy factory and steal their secret recipe?”

And so I sat down to create a game to teach myself AGS, and the result became Candy Heist.
They say never release your first game, but here it is, anyway.
